At 11.6 inches long and weighting only 800 grams, the MiCube scanners incorporate a built-in automatic document feeder (ADF) and card scanner in a compact design. Powered by a rechargeable Li-Ion battery through the USB cable, the MiCube series are easy to travel with and lets you bring productivity of batches scanning to any workplace.

▍Easy to Use

In addition to its portability, the MiCube series make scan easy with the easy-to-use panel and most important without the need of a computer or any software application. Simply insert your document and press the Scan button, the scan is started and the image is saved to a microSDTM card in default settings – 300 dpi, color, and jpeg file format. Switch to 600 dpi, black and white mode, or pdf file format by simply tapping the buttons on the panel. Simply press and start! No additional learning is required.
To view or download the scanned image, remove the micro SDTM card and connect it to a card reader, or connect the scanner to your computer via a supplied USB cable.

▍Productive and Flexible

The MiCube series are productive at scan rate of up to 8 pages per minute through the built-in 8-page auto document feeder and accommodate document up 14”. Plus, the Li-Ion battery lasts for up to 200 scanning pages (A4, color mode at 300 dpi)! To capture high quality card image, the MiCube series also include a special feed slot at the back of the scanner to handle plastic ID cards, driver licenses, and even embossed cards up to 0.76 mm.

  • Why there is a red or gray background with lines on my scanned image?

    The scanner does not enough power to perform a scan. Charge your batteries and restart the scan.

  • ▎Instruction

  • Paper becomes skewed in the scanner.

    1. Align the document guides to fit the documents as closely as possibly and place the documents so that they feed in straight.

    2. Check the condition of the feeding roller. If necessary, follow the cleaning directions and perform the cleaning.

  • The image can not be saved into the memory card while scanning?

    Make sure you have a microSD™ card inserted correctly, and that it has adequate space.

  • Why doesn’t my computer recognize my scanner when it’s connected via USB cable?

    Make sure the cable connection is correct and secure. Restart the computer if necessary.

  • ▎Hardware Related

  • Paper becomes jammed or multi-fed.

    1. Flatten the corners and edges of your documents.

    2. Thoroughly fan your documents before loading them into the scanner. Document might stick together because of static electricity.

    3. Reduce the number of pages that you load into the scanner at one time.

  • Why does not my scanner turn on?

    The batteries may not enough power or may not be inserted correctly.

  • Why there are strange lines on the scanned document?

    Please check the following:

    1. Are there scratches on the original or is the original clean?

    2. Remove any stains or dust from the original before scanning.

    3. Clean the rollers and glass with the included cleaning cloth. (Refer to the section “Cleaning the Rollers and Glass)

  • Should the scanner feel warm to the touch?

    It is normal for the scanner to emit a small amount of heat after prolonged use. However, if there are strange odors coming from the scanner or the scanner feels a little bit hot to the touch, turn the scanner off immediately.

  • Will the scanner recharge my rechargeable batteries?

    No, the scanner does NOT recharge rechargeable batteries. You must use your own battery charging device.
