▍Color and graphic LCD display
The AD345GN is easy to operate using the LCD display and buttons on the control panel. By selecting the destination and pressing the “Scan” button, scanning can be performed and the scanned image can be sent to the specified destination application such as email, printer or your favorite image editing software. Up to nine frequently used scan settings and destinations can be preset for different scanning requirements.
▍A duplex scanner suitable for documents and cards
Thanks to the advanced straight paper path and image processing technology, mixed stacks of documents with different sizes and weights can be scanned, cropped and straightened accordingly and are ready for immediate use. Scan sizes range from receipts (2″ x 2″) to business documents (8.5 x 14 inches). The automatic document feeder is also robust enough to feed paper weighing up to 413 g/m2 (110 lbs) and embossed hard cards such as ID cards, credit cards, driver’s licenses and health insurance cards up to 1.25 mm thick.
▍USB 3.2 Gen 1×1 and Ethernet 10Base-T/100Base-TX/1000Base-T interfaces
The supplied software (Virtual Scanner Link) enables scanning via the network. The scanning process can be started either from the user’s own PC or directly on the scanner using the buttons. Network users can share the scanner, whereby the scan data can be transferred to the computer of the respective user.
▍Reversing roller increases feed reliability
The AD345GN features an innovative reversing roller for improved paper separation and provides excellent feed reliability and operational productivity by effectively reducing the risk of multiple feeds or paper jams.
▍Ultrasonic multiple feed detection
With the ultrasonic multi-feed detection, the scanner enables overlapping paper to be inserted by detecting the paper thickness between the documents. The ultrasonic function can be switched off when scanning documents with labels, sticky notes or stuck-on receipts. This innovative design prevents double feeding and effectively scans documents of different weights or thicknesses.
▍Compact design for more space
The AD345GN is characterized by a unique and elegant design, as both the input and output paper trays can be folded away when not in use. The paper tray also protects the device from dust. Unlike bulky conventional scanners, the slim AD345GN is easy to transport and store on your desk without taking up much space.
▍Powerful Bundled Software Applications
The AD345GN comes with TWAIN and ISIS drivers and is equipped with a range of powerful software applications, including Avision Button Manager, AVScan and PaperPort. Button Manager allows you to create searchable PDFs, scan and send images to email, printers or cloud servers such as Google DriveTM or Evernote® at the touch of a button. AVScan and PaperPort are highly effective image processing and document management software that will help you to make your tasks more efficient.
